निर्मर्यादे तथा युद्धे वर्तमाने सुदारुणे ।

20. Similarly, when an exceedingly terrible and unrestrained war was raging, then very dreadful portents (utpāta) appeared, foretelling destruction. The earth (mahī), along with its mountains and forests, shook, making a rumbling sound.
