महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-22, verse-2

तांस्तु यत्नेन महता संनिवार्य महारथान् ।
पुत्रस्ते योधयामास पाण्डवानामनीकिनीम् ॥२॥
2. tāṁstu yatnena mahatā saṁnivārya mahārathān ,
putraste yodhayāmāsa pāṇḍavānāmanīkinīm.

putraḥ te yodhayāmāsa pāṇḍavānām anīkinīm
2. tu te putraḥ mahatā yatnena tān mahārathān

2. But your son, having with great effort checked those great charioteers (mahāratha), then engaged in battle with the army (anīkinī) of the Pāṇḍavas.
