महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-50, verse-58

आगमिष्यति वः क्षिप्रं फलं पापस्य कर्मणः ।
अधर्मो हि कृतस्तीव्रः कथं स्यादफलश्चिरम् ॥५८॥
58. āgamiṣyati vaḥ kṣipraṁ phalaṁ pāpasya karmaṇaḥ ,
adharmo hi kṛtastīvraḥ kathaṁ syādaphalaściram.
