महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-50, verse-32

स्वेषां प्रियहिते युक्तं पितॄणां जयगृद्धिनम् ।
न च पूर्वप्रहर्तारं संग्रामे नष्टसंभ्रमम् ।
यदि पुत्रं न पश्यामि यास्यामि यमसादनम् ॥३२॥
32. sveṣāṁ priyahite yuktaṁ pitṝṇāṁ jayagṛddhinam ,
na ca pūrvaprahartāraṁ saṁgrāme naṣṭasaṁbhramam ,
yadi putraṁ na paśyāmi yāsyāmi yamasādanam.

32. If I do not see my son, who is committed to the welfare of his own people, eager for the victory of his ancestors, who never strikes first in battle, and who is fearless, then I will go to the abode of Yama.
