महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-134, verse-67

दुर्लभं जीवितं मन्ये कौरव्यस्य किरीटिना ।
युध्यमानस्य पार्थेन शार्दूलेनेव हस्तिनः ॥६७॥
67. durlabhaṁ jīvitaṁ manye kauravyasya kirīṭinā ,
yudhyamānasya pārthena śārdūleneva hastinaḥ.

67. I consider the life of the Kaurava (Duryodhana), while he is fighting with Arjuna (Kirīṭin), to be difficult to preserve, just as an elephant's life would be against a tiger.
