महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-134, verse-59

न हि मद्वीर्यमासाद्य फल्गुनः प्रसहिष्यति ।
यथा वेलां समासाद्य सागरो मकरालयः ॥५९॥
59. na hi madvīryamāsādya phalgunaḥ prasahiṣyati ,
yathā velāṁ samāsādya sāgaro makarālayaḥ.
59. na hi mat-vīryam āsādya phalgunaḥ prasahiṣyati
yathā velām samāsādya sāgaraḥ makarālayaḥ
59. hi phalgunaḥ mat-vīryam āsādya na prasahiṣyati yathā
makarālayaḥ sāgaraḥ velām samāsādya (na prasahiṣyati)
59. Indeed, Phalguna will not be able to withstand my valor (vīrya) after encountering it, just as the ocean, the abode of sea creatures, cannot transgress its boundary after reaching it.
