अश्वत्थामोवाच ।
कर्ण पश्य सुदुर्बुद्धे तिष्ठेदानीं नराधम ।
एष तेऽद्य शिरः कायादुद्धरामि सुदुर्मते ॥२॥

2. aśvatthāmovāca ,
karṇa paśya sudurbuddhe tiṣṭhedānīṁ narādhama ,
eṣa te'dya śiraḥ kāyāduddharāmi sudurmate.

Ashvatthama said: O Karna, you extremely wicked-minded one, look! Stop now, you lowest among men! Today, I will sever your head from your body, you utterly evil-minded one!
