महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-90, verse-6

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
शृणु राजन्पुरा सम्यङ्मया द्वैपायनाच्छ्रुतम् ।
प्रोच्यमानमिदं कृत्स्नं स्ववंशजननं शुभम् ॥६॥
6. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
śṛṇu rājanpurā samyaṅmayā dvaipāyanācchrutam ,
procyamānamidaṁ kṛtsnaṁ svavaṁśajananaṁ śubham.
6. vaiśaṃpāyanaḥ uvāca śṛṇu rājan purā samyak mayā dvaipāyanāt
śrutam procyamānam idam kṛtsnam svavaṃśajananaṃ śubham
6. Vaiśampāyana said: 'Listen, O King. I will now narrate this entire auspicious account, which recounts the origins of their royal lineage, just as I heard it perfectly from Dvaipāyana in the past.'
