कलंकयन्तःकलङ्केन प्रोच्यते हेम नान्यथा ।
भावासक्त्या समासक्त उक्तो जन्तुर्हि नान्यथा ॥ ७० ॥

70. Just as gold is said to be stained by a blemish, and not otherwise, so too is a living being declared to be attached by emotional attachment, and not otherwise.
