योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-74, verse-40

न तथा सुखयत्यङ्ग संलग्ना वरवर्णिनी ।
यथा सुखयति स्वान्तमिन्दुशीता निराशता ॥ ४० ॥
na tathā sukhayatyaṅga saṃlagnā varavarṇinī ,
yathā sukhayati svāntaminduśītā nirāśatā 40
40. na tathā sukhayati aṅga saṃlagnā varavarṇinī
yathā sukhayati svāntam induśītā nirāśatā
40. aṅga saṃlagnā varavarṇinī tathā na sukhayati

40. O dear one, a beautiful woman embracing one does not bring joy in the same way that the moon-cool state of desirelessness delights the inner self (ātman).
