महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-13, verse-73

तामवप्लुत्य जग्राह सकोशं चाकरोदसिम् ।
वैनतेयो यथा कार्ष्णिः पतन्तमुरगोत्तमम् ॥७३॥
73. tāmavaplutya jagrāha sakośaṁ cākarodasim ,
vainateyo yathā kārṣṇiḥ patantamuragottamam.
73. tām avaplutya jagrāha sakośam ca akarot asim
vainateyaḥ yathā kārṣṇiḥ patantam uragottamam
73. kārṣṇiḥ avaplutya tām jagrāha ca sakośam asim
akarot yathā vainateyaḥ patantam uragottamam
73. Kārṣṇi (Abhimanyu), having sprung forward, seized that (spear) and made it into a sword (asi) along with its sheath, just as Vainateya (Garuda) seizes the best of serpents (uragottama) as it falls.
