महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-13, verse-50

द्वाभ्यां शराभ्यां हार्दिक्यश्चकर्त सशरं धनुः ।
तदुत्सृज्य धनुश्छिन्नं सौभद्रः परवीरहा ।
उद्बबर्ह सितं खड्गमाददानः शरावरम् ॥५०॥
50. dvābhyāṁ śarābhyāṁ hārdikyaścakarta saśaraṁ dhanuḥ ,
tadutsṛjya dhanuśchinnaṁ saubhadraḥ paravīrahā ,
udbabarha sitaṁ khaḍgamādadānaḥ śarāvaram.

50. Kritavarman (Hārdikya) severed [Abhimanyu's] bow, along with its arrow, with two arrows. Abhimanyu (Saubhadra), the destroyer of enemy heroes, abandoning that broken bow, unsheathed a bright sword while taking up his quiver.
