महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-13, verse-36

वैकर्तनं तु समरे विराटः प्रत्यवारयत् ।
सह मत्स्यैर्महावीर्यैस्तदद्भुतमिवाभवत् ॥३६॥
36. vaikartanaṁ tu samare virāṭaḥ pratyavārayat ,
saha matsyairmahāvīryaistadadbhutamivābhavat.

36. But King Virāṭa, accompanied by his exceedingly powerful Matsya warriors, resisted Vaikartana (Karṇa) in battle. That was truly a marvelous event.
