महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-13, verse-31

धृष्टकेतुः कृपेनास्ताञ्छित्त्वा बहुविधाञ्शरान् ।
कृपं विव्याध सप्तत्या लक्ष्म चास्याहरत्त्रिभिः ॥३१॥
31. dhṛṣṭaketuḥ kṛpenāstāñchittvā bahuvidhāñśarān ,
kṛpaṁ vivyādha saptatyā lakṣma cāsyāharattribhiḥ.
31. dhṛṣṭaketuḥ kṛpena āstān chitṭvā bahuvidhān śarān
kṛpaṃ vivyādha saptatyā lakṣma ca asya aharat tribhiḥ

31. Dhristaketu, having cut down the many kinds of arrows (śara) released by Kripa, then pierced Kripa with seventy (arrows) and struck down his banner with three (arrows).
