महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-43, verse-81

तत्र देवर्षयः सिद्धाश्चारणाश्च समागताः ।
प्रैक्षन्त तद्रणं घोरं देवासुररणोपमम् ॥८१॥
81. tatra devarṣayaḥ siddhāścāraṇāśca samāgatāḥ ,
praikṣanta tadraṇaṁ ghoraṁ devāsuraraṇopamam.

81. There, the divine sages (devarṣayaḥ), the perfected beings (siddhāḥ), and the bards (cāraṇāḥ) had assembled. They watched that dreadful battle, which resembled the war between gods and demons.
