तावुभौ कुरुशार्दूलौ परस्परवधैषिणौ ।
गाङ्गेयस्तु रणे पार्थं विद्ध्वा नाकम्पयद्बली ।
तथैव पाण्डवो राजन्भीष्मं नाकम्पयद्युधि ॥१०॥

10. Those two tigers among the Kurus, desiring each other's death – but the mighty Bhīṣma (gāṅgeya), having wounded Arjuna (pārtha) in battle, could not make him tremble. Similarly, O King, Arjuna (pāṇḍava) also could not make Bhīṣma tremble in the fight (yudhi).
