महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-43, verse-68

श्रुतायुस्त्वथ संक्रुद्धः फाल्गुनेः समरे हयान् ।
निजघान गदाग्रेण ततो युद्धमवर्तत ॥६८॥

68. But then, Śrutāyuṣa, greatly enraged, struck down the horses of Arjuna's son in battle with the tip of his mace. Thereafter, a battle ensued.
