क्षुपाज्जग्राह चेक्ष्वाकुरिक्ष्वाकोश्च पुरूरवाः ।
आयुश्च तस्माल्लेभे तं नहुषश्च ततो भुवि ॥७२॥

72. kṣupājjagrāha cekṣvākurikṣvākośca purūravāḥ ,
āyuśca tasmāllebhe taṁ nahuṣaśca tato bhuvi.

āyuḥ ca tasmāt lebhe tam nahuṣaḥ ca tataḥ bhuvi

72. ca ikṣvākuḥ kṣupāt jagrāha ca purūravāḥ ikṣvākoḥ

72. And Ikṣvāku took it from Kṣupa, and Purūravas from Ikṣvāku. And Ayu received that [authority] from him [Purūravas], and Nahuṣa from him [Ayu], on the earth.
