महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-160, verse-26

दानवेन्द्रास्त्वतिक्रम्य तत्पितामहशासनम् ।
धर्मस्यापचयं चक्रुः क्रोधलोभसमन्विताः ॥२६॥
26. dānavendrāstvatikramya tatpitāmahaśāsanam ,
dharmasyāpacayaṁ cakruḥ krodhalobhasamanvitāḥ.
26. dānava-indrāḥ tu ati-kramya tat pitāmaha-śāsanam
dharmasya apacayam cakruḥ krodha-lobha-samanvitāḥ
26. tu krodha-lobha-samanvitāḥ dānava-indrāḥ tat

26. The chiefs of the Dānavas, however, having transgressed that command of their grandfather, brought about the decline of natural law (dharma), being filled with anger and greed.
