वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-48, verse-44

अन्ये भेरीः समाजघ्नुरन्ये चक्रुर्महास्वनम् ।
केशानन्ये प्रलुलुपुः कर्णावन्ये दशन्ति च ।
न कुम्भकर्णः पस्पन्दे महानिद्रावशं गतः ॥४४॥
44. anye bherīḥ samājaghnuranye cakrurmahāsvanam ,
keśānanye pralulupuḥ karṇāvanye daśanti ca ,
na kumbhakarṇaḥ paspande mahānidrāvaśaṃ gataḥ.
