महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-92, verse-63

रथैश्च बहुभिर्भग्नैः किङ्किणीजालमालिभिः ।
वाजिभिश्च हतैः कीर्णैः स्रस्तजिह्वैः सशोणितैः ॥६३॥
63. rathaiśca bahubhirbhagnaiḥ kiṅkiṇījālamālibhiḥ ,
vājibhiśca hataiḥ kīrṇaiḥ srastajihvaiḥ saśoṇitaiḥ.

63. And (the ground was strewn) with many broken chariots adorned with networks of small bells, and with slain, scattered horses whose tongues hung out and who were covered in blood.
