महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-92, verse-55

तथैवाश्वनृनागानां शरीरैराबभौ तदा ।
संछन्ना वसुधा राजन्पर्वतैरिव सर्वतः ॥५५॥
55. tathaivāśvanṛnāgānāṁ śarīrairābabhau tadā ,
saṁchannā vasudhā rājanparvatairiva sarvataḥ.
55. tathā eva aśvanṛnāgānām śarīraiḥ ābabhau tadā
saṃchannā vasudhā rājan parvataiḥ iva sarvataḥ
55. rājan tadā aśvanṛnāgānām śarīraiḥ vasudhā
sarvataḥ parvataiḥ iva saṃchannā ābabhau
55. Then, O King, the earth appeared completely covered on all sides by the bodies of horses, men, and elephants, as if by mountains.
