अवध्या बहवो वीराः संग्रामे मधुसूदन ।
निहताः कौरवैः संख्ये तथास्माभिश्च ते हताः ॥४॥

4. O Madhusūdana (Kṛṣṇa), many warriors, who were otherwise inviolable, have been killed by the Kauravas in battle, and so too have they been killed by us.
