रत्नानामुत्तमं रत्नं भूषणानां तथोत्तमम् ।
पवित्रं च पवित्राणां मङ्गलानां च मङ्गलम् ॥८१॥

81. (Gold is) the foremost jewel among all jewels, and likewise the supreme among ornaments. It is the purest of purifiers, and the most auspicious of all auspicious things.
