महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-84, verse-70

तेजसा तस्य गर्भस्य भास्करस्येव रश्मिभिः ।
यद्द्रव्यं परिसंसृष्टं पृथिव्यां पर्वतेषु वा ।
तत्सर्वं काञ्चनीभूतं समन्तात्प्रत्यदृश्यत ॥७०॥
70. tejasā tasya garbhasya bhāskarasyeva raśmibhiḥ ,
yaddravyaṁ parisaṁsṛṣṭaṁ pṛthivyāṁ parvateṣu vā ,
tatsarvaṁ kāñcanībhūtaṁ samantātpratyadṛśyata.
70. tejasā tasya garbhasya bhāskarasya
iva raśmibhiḥ yat dravyam parisaṃsṛṣṭam
pṛthivyām parvateṣu vā tat sarvam
kāñcanībhūtam samantāt pratyadṛśyata
70. By the splendor of that embryo (garbha), like the sun's rays, every substance that came into contact with it, whether on earth or in the mountains, transformed into gold and became visible all around.
