महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-84, verse-36

अनुग्रहं तु नागानां यं चक्रुः शृणु तं प्रभो ।
देवा भृगुकुलश्रेष्ठ प्रीताः सत्यपराक्रमाः ॥३६॥
36. anugrahaṁ tu nāgānāṁ yaṁ cakruḥ śṛṇu taṁ prabho ,
devā bhṛgukulaśreṣṭha prītāḥ satyaparākramāḥ.
36. anugraham tu nāgānām yam cakruḥ śṛṇu tam prabho
devāḥ bhṛgukulaśreṣṭha prītāḥ satyaparākramāḥ
36. prabho bhṛgukulaśreṣṭha tu tam anugraham śṛṇu
yam prītāḥ satyaparākramāḥ devāḥ nāgānām cakruḥ
36. O Lord! O best of Bhṛgu's lineage! Listen to that favor which the gods, being pleased and truly valorous, bestowed upon the nāgas.
