महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-84, verse-30

देवा ऊचुः ।
अग्निशापादजिह्वापि रसज्ञानबहिष्कृताः ।
सरस्वतीं बहुविधां यूयमुच्चारयिष्यथ ॥३०॥
30. devā ūcuḥ ,
agniśāpādajihvāpi rasajñānabahiṣkṛtāḥ ,
sarasvatīṁ bahuvidhāṁ yūyamuccārayiṣyatha.
30. devāḥ ūcuḥ agniśāpāt ajihvāḥ api rasajñānabahiṣkṛtāḥ
sarasvatīm bahuvidhām yūyam uccārayiṣyatha

30. The gods said: "Even though you are tongueless due to Agni's curse, and deprived of the perception of taste, you shall utter various kinds of speech (sarasvatī)."
