महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-84, verse-6

स हि नैव स्म देवानां नासुराणां न रक्षसाम् ।
वध्यः स्यामिति जग्राह वरं त्वत्तः पितामह ॥६॥
6. sa hi naiva sma devānāṁ nāsurāṇāṁ na rakṣasām ,
vadhyaḥ syāmiti jagrāha varaṁ tvattaḥ pitāmaha.
6. saḥ hi na eva sma devānām na asurāṇām na rakṣasām
vadhyaḥ syām iti jagrāha varam tvattaḥ pitāmaha
6. pitāmaha saḥ hi tvattaḥ varam jagrāha iti
devānām na asurāṇām na rakṣasām vadhyaḥ syām
6. O Grandfather, he indeed obtained a boon from you, saying, "I shall not be killable by gods, nor by asuras, nor by rākṣasas."
