समोऽहं सर्वभूतानामधर्मं नेह रोचये ।
हन्यतां तारकः क्षिप्रं सुरर्षिगणबाधकः ॥३॥

hanyatāṁ tārakaḥ kṣipraṁ surarṣigaṇabādhakaḥ.

Brahmā said: "I am impartial to all beings, and I do not approve of injustice (adharma) here. Let Tāraka, who obstructs the hosts of gods and sages, be killed swiftly."
