महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-84, verse-11

सनातनो हि संकल्पः काम इत्यभिधीयते ।
रुद्रस्य तेजः प्रस्कन्नमग्नौ निपतितं च तत् ॥११॥
11. sanātano hi saṁkalpaḥ kāma ityabhidhīyate ,
rudrasya tejaḥ praskannamagnau nipatitaṁ ca tat.
11. sanātanaḥ hi saṅkalpaḥ kāmaḥ iti abhidhīyate
rudrasya tejaḥ praskannam agnau nipatitam ca tat
11. sanātanaḥ saṅkalpaḥ hi kāmaḥ iti abhidhīyate
tat rudrasya tejaḥ praskannam ca agnau nipatitam
11. Indeed, this eternal resolve is called desire (kāma). And that divine energy (tejas) of Rudra, having fallen, landed in the fire.
