महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-84, verse-59

धारणे नास्य शक्ताहं गर्भस्य तपतां वर ।
उत्स्रक्ष्येऽहमिमं दुःखान्न तु कामात्कथंचन ॥५९॥

59. dhāraṇe nāsya śaktāhaṁ garbhasya tapatāṁ vara ,
utsrakṣye'hamimaṁ duḥkhānna tu kāmātkathaṁcana.

utsrakṣye aham imam duḥkhāt na tu kāmāt kathaṃcana

59. tapatām vara,
aham asya garbhasya dhāraṇe na śaktā; aham imam duḥkhāt utsrakṣye,
tu kāmāt kathaṃcana na.

59. O best among ascetics, I am not capable of bearing this embryo. I shall abandon it out of distress, and by no means due to desire.
