महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-84, verse-39

शशाप शुकमग्निस्तु वाग्विहीनो भविष्यसि ।
जिह्वां चावर्तयामास तस्यापि हुतभुक्तदा ॥३९॥
39. śaśāpa śukamagnistu vāgvihīno bhaviṣyasi ,
jihvāṁ cāvartayāmāsa tasyāpi hutabhuktadā.
39. śaśāpa śukam agniḥ tu vāgvihīnaḥ bhaviṣyasi
jihvām ca āvartayāmāsa tasya api hutabhuk tadā
39. agniḥ tu śukam śaśāpa vāgvihīnaḥ bhaviṣyasi ca
tadā hutabhuk tasya api jihvām āvartayāmāsa
39. Agni, however, cursed Śuka, saying, "You will be bereft of speech!" Then, the fire god also twisted his tongue.
