महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-84, verse-55

आहिते ज्वलनेनाथ गर्भे तेजःसमन्विते ।
गङ्गायामसुरः कश्चिद्भैरवं नादमुत्सृजत् ॥५५॥
55. āhite jvalanenātha garbhe tejaḥsamanvite ,
gaṅgāyāmasuraḥ kaścidbhairavaṁ nādamutsṛjat.

55. Then, as the embryo, imbued with effulgence, was deposited by the fire (Agni) into the Gaṅgā, a certain demon (asura) let out a terrifying roar.
