महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-84, verse-26

गम्यतां साधयिष्यामो वयं ह्यग्निभयात्सुराः ।
एतावदुक्त्वा मण्डूकस्त्वरितो जलमाविशत् ॥२६॥
26. gamyatāṁ sādhayiṣyāmo vayaṁ hyagnibhayātsurāḥ ,
etāvaduktvā maṇḍūkastvarito jalamāviśat.
26. gamyatām sādhayiṣyāmaḥ vayam hi agnibhayaat
surāḥ etāvat uktvā maṇḍūkaḥ tvaritaḥ jalam āviśat
26. surāḥ gamyatām vayam hi agnibhayaat sādhayiṣyāmaḥ

26. “Let us depart; we shall manage (to save ourselves), for we are fearful of Agni, O gods.” Having spoken thus, the frog swiftly entered the water.
