महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-84, verse-40

दृष्ट्वा तु ज्वलनं देवाः शुकमूचुर्दयान्विताः ।
भविता न त्वमत्यन्तं शकुने नष्टवागिति ॥४०॥
40. dṛṣṭvā tu jvalanaṁ devāḥ śukamūcurdayānvitāḥ ,
bhavitā na tvamatyantaṁ śakune naṣṭavāgiti.
40. dṛṣṭvā tu jvalanam devāḥ śukam ūcuḥ dayānvitāḥ
bhavitā na tvam atyantam śakune naṣṭavāk iti
40. tu dayānvitāḥ devāḥ jvalanam dṛṣṭvā śukam ūcuḥ
tvam śakune atyantam naṣṭavāk na bhavitā iti
40. However, seeing the fire, the gods, filled with compassion, said to Śuka: "O bird, you will not be utterly bereft of speech."
