महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-84, verse-49

इमान्देवगणांस्तात प्रजापतिगणांस्तथा ।
ऋषींश्चापि महाभागान्परित्रायस्व पावक ॥४९॥
49. imāndevagaṇāṁstāta prajāpatigaṇāṁstathā ,
ṛṣīṁścāpi mahābhāgānparitrāyasva pāvaka.
49. imān devagaṇān tāta prajāpatigaṇān tathā
ṛṣīn ca api mahābhāgān paritrāyasva pāvaka
49. pāvaka tāta paritrāyasva imān devagaṇān ca tathā prajāpatigaṇān ca api mahābhāgān ṛṣīn.
49. O dear one, O Pāvaka (pāvaka)! Protect these hosts of gods, and likewise the hosts of Prajāpatis, and also the great and fortunate sages.
