महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-84, verse-78

एवं सुवर्णमुत्पन्नमपत्यं जातवेदसः ।
तत्र जाम्बूनदं श्रेष्ठं देवानामपि भूषणम् ॥७८॥
78. evaṁ suvarṇamutpannamapatyaṁ jātavedasaḥ ,
tatra jāmbūnadaṁ śreṣṭhaṁ devānāmapi bhūṣaṇam.

tatra jāmbūnadam śreṣṭham devānām api bhūṣaṇam

78. In this way, gold, born as the offspring of Jātavedas (Agni), was produced. There, the Jāmbūnada variety of gold is considered supreme, serving as an ornament even for the gods.
