महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-213, verse-33

दह्यतागुरुणा चैव देशे देशे सुगन्धिना ।
सुसंमृष्टजनाकीर्णं वणिग्भिरुपशोभितम् ॥३३॥
33. dahyatāguruṇā caiva deśe deśe sugandhinā ,
susaṁmṛṣṭajanākīrṇaṁ vaṇigbhirupaśobhitam.

susaṃmṛṣṭajanākīrṇam vaṇigbhiḥ upaśobhitam
33. And indeed, in every place, it was made fragrant with burning agallochum; it was crowded with well-cleansed people and adorned by merchants.
