महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-213, verse-16

तथा बहुविधं कृष्णां विलपन्तीं धनंजयः ।
सान्त्वयामास भूयश्च क्षमयामास चासकृत् ॥१६॥
16. tathā bahuvidhaṁ kṛṣṇāṁ vilapantīṁ dhanaṁjayaḥ ,
sāntvayāmāsa bhūyaśca kṣamayāmāsa cāsakṛt.
16. tathā bahuvidham kṛṣṇām vilapantīm dhanaṃjayaḥ
| sāntvayām āsa bhūyaḥ ca kṣamayām āsa ca asakṛt
16. Thus, Dhananjaya (Arjuna) consoled Krishnaa (Draupadi), who was lamenting in various ways, and repeatedly sought her forgiveness.
