महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-213, verse-25

तत्र दानपतिर्धीमानाजगाम महायशाः ।
अक्रूरो वृष्णिवीराणां सेनापतिररिंदमः ॥२५॥
25. tatra dānapatirdhīmānājagāma mahāyaśāḥ ,
akrūro vṛṣṇivīrāṇāṁ senāpatirariṁdamaḥ.

akrūraḥ vṛṣṇivīrāṇām senāpatiḥ arindamaḥ
25. Then, the intelligent and highly illustrious Akrūra, a lord of charity (dāna), arrived. He was the commander-in-chief of the Vṛṣṇi heroes and a subduer of enemies.
