वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-4, verse-51

अथावृत्य महीं कृत्स्नां जगाम महती चमूः ।
ऋक्षवानरशार्दूलैर्नखदंष्ट्रायुधैर्वृता ॥५१॥
51. athāvṛtya mahīṃ kṛtsnāṃ jagāma mahatī camūḥ ,
ṛkṣavānaraśārdūlairnakhadaṃṣṭrāyudhairvṛtā.

51. Then, a vast army advanced, covering the entire earth, accompanied by bears, monkeys, and mighty warriors resembling tigers, whose only weapons were their claws and fangs.
