बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-54, verse-11

गङ्गास्नानफलावाप्तिं विदेशगमनं तथा ।
तथाऽष्टमव्यये राहौ पापयुक्तेऽथ वीक्षिते ॥११॥
11. gaṅgāsnānaphalāvāptiṃ videśagamanaṃ tathā .
tathā'ṣṭamavyaye rāhau pāpayukte'tha vīkṣite.
11. gaṅgāsnānaphalāvāptim videśagamanam tathā
tathā aṣṭamavyaye rāhau pāpayukte atha vīkṣite
11. There will be the attainment of the merit from bathing in the Ganges, and also travels to foreign lands. However, if Rāhu is in the 8th or 12th house, conjoined with or aspected by malefics, then (negative effects will follow, as described in subsequent verses).
