मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-15, verse-9

सञ्जायते महावक्त्रो मूषिको बभ्रुसन्निभः ।
परदाराभिमर्षात्तु वृको घोरोऽभिजायते ॥९॥
9. sañjāyate mahāvaktro mūṣiko babhrusannibhaḥ .
paradārābhimarṣāttu vṛko ghoro'bhijāyate.
9. saṃjāyate mahāvaktraḥ mūṣikaḥ babhrusannibhaḥ
| paradārābhimarṣāt tu vṛkaḥ ghoraḥ abhijāyate
9. He is born as a large-mouthed, brown-colored mouse. However, from the molestation of another man's wife, a terrible wolf is born.
