कथं स्पृहां करिष्यन्ति मत्सम्पर्केषु मानवाः ।
यदि सत्सन्निधावेषामुकत्कर्षो नोपजायते ॥७५॥

kathaṃ spṛhāṃ kariṣyanti matsamparkeṣu mānavāḥ .
yadi satsannidhāveṣāmukatkarṣo nopajāyate.

The king said: 'How will people (mānava) have a desire for association with me if their upliftment does not arise even in the presence of virtuous people?'
