मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-15, verse-10

श्वा शृगालो वको गृध्रो व्याडः कङ्कस्तथा क्रमात् ।
भ्रातृभार्याञ्च दुर्बुद्धिर्यो धर्षयति पापकृत् ॥१०॥
10. śvā śṛgālo vako gṛdhro vyāḍaḥ kaṅkastathā kramāt .
bhrātṛbhāryāñca durbuddhiryo dharṣayati pāpakṛt.
10. śvā śṛgālaḥ vakaḥ gṛdhraḥ vyāḍaḥ kaṅkaḥ tathā kramāt
| bhrātṛbhāryām ca durbuddhiḥ yaḥ dharṣayati pāpakṛt
10. The wicked, evil-minded person who violates his brother's wife is reborn as a dog, a jackal, a crane, a vulture, a wild beast, or a kite, in succession.
