मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-15, verse-39

सोऽजिर्णव्याधिदुः खार्तो मन्दाग्निः संप्रजायते ।
परनिन्दा कृतघ्रत्वं परमर्मावघट्टनम् ॥३९॥
39. so'jirṇavyādhiduḥ khārto mandāgniḥ saṃprajāyate .

39. He (the one from the previous verse) is born (again) afflicted by distress from indigestion and disease, and with a weak digestive fire. Slandering others, ingratitude, and striking at others' vital points (are also causes of suffering).
