प्राप्य क्षीणाल्पपापस्तु नरो भवति वै ततः ॥३३॥

Then, having successively attained the state of grass, shrubs, creepers, vines, and trees whose essence is bark, a person, with his minor sins (pāpa) exhausted, indeed becomes a human thereafter.
