यो नार्तमनुगृह्णाति वैरिपक्षमपि ध्रुवम् ॥६०॥

Shame on the life of that person (puruṣa) who does not show compassion to a distressed one seeking refuge, even if that person (puruṣa) certainly belongs to the enemy's side.
