मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-15, verse-45

स्वर्गच्युतानां लिङ्गानि पुरुषाणामपापिनाम् ।
एतदुद्देशतो राजन् भवतः कथितं मया ॥४५॥
45. svargacyutānāṃ liṅgāni puruṣāṇāmapāpinām .
etaduddeśato rājan bhavataḥ kathitaṃ mayā.

etat uddeśataḥ rājan bhavataḥ kathitam mayā
45. O King, these are the characteristics (liṅga) of sinless persons (puruṣa) who have fallen from heaven. This has been recounted by me to you in outline.
