यदि मत्सन्निधावेतान् यातना न प्रबाधते ।
ततो भद्रमुखात्राहं स्थास्ये स्थाणुरिवाचलः ॥५७॥

57. yadi matsannidhāvetān yātanā na prabādhate .

The king said: 'If these torments do not afflict them in my presence, then, O respected one, I will remain here immovable, like a pillar.'
